Hi J_S Could not wait until Monday so I came in to work test your suggestion ;)
Setting the data variance to dynamic seems to have fix the issue, one to remember Thanks Gordon -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jean-Sebastien Guay Sent: Saturday, March 15, 2008 9:00 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; OpenSceneGraph Users Subject: Re: [osg-users] Issues with osgText in 2.3.x Hi Gordon, > Is there a new requirement to updating text on an osgText instance > that is different to how 1.2, does osgText have any new dependencies > we may have missed. In addition to doing it during the update traversal (or more specifically before the rendering traversal) which you seem to be doing, is your osgText object's data variance set to DYNAMIC? That's what has always fixed intermittent crashes when updating osgText objects with setText for me. Hope this helps, J-S -- ______________________________________________________ Jean-Sébastien Guay [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.cm-labs.com/ http://whitestar02.webhop.org/ _______________________________________________ osg-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openscenegraph.org/listinfo.cgi/osg-users-openscenegraph.org _______________________________________________ osg-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openscenegraph.org/listinfo.cgi/osg-users-openscenegraph.org
