"DepthSortedBin" is hard-wired internal to OSG. It's the name given to the default back-to-front sorted bin. It's registered in src/osgUtil/RenderBin.cpp. If you do a 'grep -r DepthSortedBin ./*' in your OSG root you'll see it popping up quite a bit.
