have you built your application on VisualStudio 2008 (VS9), but linked against libs, built with an older version of Visual Studio ? I have seen the such issues with osgText&freetype (for example crash - when pressing 's' in osgviewer app). Just try to rebuild your dependencies under Visual Studio 2008.
