Hi Markus,

Others have come across the same problem, the Gnome WM doesn't
implement the mechanism that the osgViewer::GraphicsWindowX11 relied
upon.

However, try out OSG-2.3.x or SVN version as it contains the following
bug fix from Cedric Pinson.   svn log GraphicsWindowX11.cpp:
