I merged some changes from Colin that added an alias of .live to the quicktime plugin to the Registry when the OSG is built against Quicktime. There haven't been any recent low level changes to the Quicktime plugin w.r.t live video streams though. Colin and others certainly have got the live stream working on recent dev versions of the OSG, so I believe things are working OK in 2.4. However, getting quicktime wired in the right way to support live video streams does seem to be a stumbling block, this is not really an OSG though, its more the nature of the beast it seems.
