Of course, you have the right to license your code as you deem fit, however this was the primary reason why Ruben Lopez has forked the osgCal code when Loic (who is is one of your developers, as I can see) changed the original license to GPL. cal3D is LGPL, that is why it is used (and also because it is the only mature lib of its kind too).
