Hi all,
I finally got round to upgrading my previous volume rendering software to a more recent version of OSG - 2.4 to be exact.

If you go here:-

http://www.stoanymoth.co.uk/page5.html

Then at the bottom right of the page there are 2 brain icons - one directly above the other. The top one is the binary distribution of the software and should contain everything you need to try it out, just remember to put the osg files and shaders somewhere where they can be accessed - in the same directory as the exe will work.

The bottom brain contains some sample MRI data and a set of instructions on how to use the software, I would encourage people to download these as it may well save time later. (Hovering your mouse over the icons will tell you which is which).

It's only for Windows and instructions are written in word, if anybody needs another format let me know. You should bare in mind that I wrote this over 2 years ago, so have no idea whether it is the best way to do it in OSG or even whether these methods are even up to date in the visualisation community. Also bare in mind that I have used up the bit of downtime that I had to get this upgraded, so support for it will be minimal at best. However, I do still read the list so you can always try and get me if you have any issues or comments on the app, just don't hold your breath. I'm going to be busy for the next month or two then after that who knows?

I'll get round to packaging up the source in the near future too.

Hope it's helpful to a few of you.

Cheers,

Tony.
