Distributed worlds aren't not my specialist area - I do the low level
scene graph work so can't provide guidance on implementation, others
are far better placed to do this.

As for implementations, perhaps something like VirtualRealityChat is
something like what you are after.  It's based on the OSG and is open
sourced.
