I've been agonising about whether these changes should be introduced
into the OSG-2.8 0 - it's build risk introducing changes the the CMake
build, even if they are relatively localised, but at the same time,
the Collada build is broken under OSG-2.8.

For better of for worse I've made the decision to push these changes
into OSG-2.8, I feel that this release has to ship with Collada
support that does at least build under Windows, and the risks are low
if we just accept that we need to do another round of testing of the
OSG-2.8 branch.

There have been other fixes to the OSG-2.8 that have been made since
the rc4, so we'll need to do an rc5 for these, so that it isn't just
Collada support that requires this extra round of testing. Earlier I
made the call for testing of Collada changes on svn/trunk, which in an
ideal world I'd wait for, but I won't to push out an rc5 this evening
to get these other changes tested, waiting another day to send out rc5
won't help getting OSG-2.8.0 promptly.

So... the Collada changs are now in the OSG-2.8 branch, and will be
part of the rc5 that I'm about to tag. You can test the Collada
changes either in svn/trunk, the OSG-2.8 branch, or rc5.

Thanks for patience,
Robert.
