Hi all,

@Robert:
Yes, we're software engineers... but I'm a lazy one!!! ;) Joking apart, if we
find a working solution, why coding/customizing anything?!

@Art:
Anything working is suitable! I hope we'll be able to test things soon, thanks
to you.
About input streams (world->conference room), I suggest to run TeamSpeak for
text and audio. That way, someone inside the room will be able to filter/moderate
easily. If you never used TeamSpeak, please note there are some nice and simple
options (mute someone, give some rights, etc.)

Hi Sukender, Serge,

Wow, thats great. I think if we didn't find anything else (i.e. university)
then it would be great to use your opportunities for hosting the event. So
eventually we have to wait until may, so that we then know if your company can
be a hoster for the event.

@Sukender:
For the video streaming (i.e. not conference) I am working on a solution. I will install a video stream server on the root-server I have. Then using a camera a linux box will stream the video/audio data to the server. Every client then has to connect to the server to get the streamed video. For the line back, I thought on a simpel skype or Netmeeting application, where the interests will have first to ask the moderator through the chat for example and then he will put him to the audio boxes and on the video projector if he would like to ask something. There will be somebody who will be our video coordinator or so. I think as soon as the video server is setted up (maybe next week), I will let you all know, so that you can test it.

Cheers,
art
