Hi J-S -- Would a custom cull callback help? You could decide per-View whether you are culled or not.
Hmm, it's an interesting approach, and could probably be generalized to a list of views specified by name, pointer, etc.
Perhaps more general than a callback would be a custom subclass of osg::Group with an overridden traverse() that would decide to traverse down to children only in certain views.
I'll see if it's a good fit in my app. Thanks for the suggestion, it's an angle I hadn't thought of.
