Hi,

Hi,
what OS/version are you using? Do all your nodes have access to the
complete data set, i.e. can all see /gis?
I'm using 2 computers with ubuntu 9.10, osg 2.8.0 and vpb 0.9.10.
/gis have all permissions, so the 2 nodes can see it. Like the
example, I have the same files on 2 nodes.
node01:/gis$ ssh node02 "ls /gis" machinepool.txt ps_height_16k.tif
ps_texture_16k.tif node01:/gis$ ls /gis machinepool.txt
ps_height_16k.tif ps_texture_16k.tif
OK, then first thing would be to figure out why osgdem segfaults. Let
vpbmaster create the tasks and then try to manually run one of the
osgdem commands through gdb/strace. Does osgviewer run on node2?
To let a segfault dump core on ubuntu do this:
ulimit -c unlimited
then run osgdem
jp
Thank you!
Cheers, Samuel
