yes it might also affect the major feature of osg being discussed
lately - the way to handle shader composition.
Another big thing is the new tessellation shaders (tessellation control
and tessellation evaluation). I haven't used osgTerrain myself, but I
can't help but wonder if those would be useful in something like that.
