Hi Guys,

Some of the older stereovision standards were also supported by IZ3D & TriDef
drivers. I don't know much about TriDef but IZ3D also works with OpenGL and can
emulate Quad Buffer on GeForce on Windows. I am not sure if they yet support
new HDMI 1.4 3D standard thats used by new TV sets, though. But probably some
day they will. Nvidia 3D TV Play is supposed to work with both Quadro and new
TVs. But its also not yet available.

Have a look at www.mtbs3d.com forums if you want to know more about alternative
drivers and their capabilities.

Cheers,
Wojtek Lewandowski

Hi Jan,

at the moment you can use the nVidia 3d kit with osg (with openGL in general)
only if you use a quadro card.
Besides the fact that this restriction doesn't make any sense to me,
if the TV support the nVidia synch signal, it should be ok to use them as 3D
monitor with a quadro card.

There should be some posts in the forum nVidia about this topic, but the forum
is down at the moment...

AFAIK, all this stuff supports only the Nvidia 3D technology - which

The classical stereo - interlaced, frame sequential etc. are well
supported by OSG and if the device can display such 3D content it will
  work.
