Just as a side note, I did a dumpbin /SYMBOLS libjpeg.lib and checked for 
"_jpeg_resync_to_restart" and it DOES appear in the list of symbols, but I get 
a linking error saying it's an unresolved external.  Plugins jpeg is set up to 
link against it...  strange?
