Sorry to bother you with such a simple question, but somehow I ended up with a red FPS indicator in the lower-left portion of my screen, and I have no idea how it got there! Does anyone know how to remove it?
Is it possible you installed an OpenGL performance monitoring tool like Fraps for example? I know Fraps, if it is set to load at startup, will put an fps indicator in any OpenGL window (unless you configure it not to, but it defaults to on).
Check your startup programs, things like that...
