I can't comment on DXF as I'm not the author, but perhaps the DXF is an convention that it uses. As for LightPointDrawable, if the code was wrong we'd be getting wrong colour light points, the code hasn't hardly changed since it was written back in 2002. I would have thought we'd have a report of problem by now... So please go do a real GL test, and then if you get an error then report it as such.
