  Not too hard, depending on your skill level and what else you want in the 
scene besides
the airplane.

  Don't. It's hard enough to get OSG to work with the various VC++ compilers. 
You'll spend
an awful lot of extra work on Builder C++. Get the free VC++ Express compiler. 
The 2010
version is out now, I know some people have had trouble with the 2010 version. 
I think you
can still get the 2008 version of the Express compiler too.
