Hi,

I am a complete beginner in regard to using OSG and am looking for a push in
the right direction to get me started.

I want to create interact-able objects, which i could link their selection
(mouse click event) to events in another application. To do this i have been
looking in the osg widget section. The kind of objects i need to create would
include:

1.) buttons
2.) sliders
3.) knob / dials where a user would be able to rotate it by dragging on the item

Also several of these buttons would ideally have a polygonal or circular shape.
So their area of interaction would be of said polygon or circle, how would i go
about ensuring that only this shape would be interact-able and not the
rectangular extents of the shape?

Any kind of advice is useful as i do not know where to get started :D

...

Thank you!

Cheers,
Gareth
