I'm in the same boat as J-S. We're fairly happy with 2.8.3 at this point. We wouldn't mind a 2.8.4 release, but we don't have any immediate need for an upgrade.
We do have some work going on with some of the new mobile stuff (iPhone/Android), but those guys are fine with using the trunk for that work, and it seems that many of those features aren't quite ready for a stable release anyway.
