I may be a couple of days late, but I have a suggestion to solve your
crashing problem. Instead of s dynamically allocated viewer use a
static object.
osgViewer::Viewer viewer;
...
//don't want this: viewer = new osgViewer::Viewer();
...
viewer.realize();
int iter = 0;
while( !viewer.done() )
{
cout<<"iter: "<<iter<<endl;
iter++;
viewer.frame();
}
return 0;
}
