Robert, I lack permission to edit the Project News page or the Download page, so
please update those as time allows. For the Project News page, you could just
cut and paste what I've placed on the wiki home page. For the downloads page,
you could copy what is already there for 2.8.4, update the svn URL, and
reference the source zip that Eric S mentioned in a recent post.
Thanks for everyone's help on the 2.8.5 release!
