Hi Jayce, it looks like during your update you managed to disable the OpenGL support on your machine. This is not in any way related to OpenSceneGraph, and every simple OpenGL program (such as glxgears, or glxinfo) would fail in the same way. Please try to get OpenGL working again, and you'll find that OSG programs will work just as before. Without even the information about what version you are currently running, nobody here will be able to help you much further. I suggest you search the Ubuntu forums for more information about what can go wrong on your particular upgrade path.
