Hello dear OSG-community, Open Position: Data Integration Specialist
Aqumin seeks a Data Integration Specialist to work with our clients integrating large amounts of financial data with Aqumin’s 3D visualization and interpretation software. Directly responsible for integration of customer data systems (databases, web services, real-time data feeds, etc.), and augmenting existing data integration tools. The candidate must demonstrate expertise in a variety of data integration concepts, practices, and procedures. Provide consultation on complex projects and is considered a top level specialist. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to the Director of Technology. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct requirements gathering, design and technical reviews with existing and potential customers. - Define and validate technical/business requirements to ensure feasibility and entirety of solutions. - Design and create systems that are operationally stable, efficient and automated - Establish short and long term strategies and implement plans that drive customer solutions - Prescribe and direct prototyping activities in order to determine appropriate design options. - Develop best practices as you build and lead a team of integration specialists. Required Skills: • ASP.NET (MVC a plus) • C# • Javscript + JQuery • SOAP, XML, Web Services • Comfortable working in multiple database environments (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc ) • Comfortable in start-up environment • BS in Computer Science or BBA in Management Information Systems(or equivalent) Great to Have: • C++ • SQL Server Administration and T-SQL • Java • SharePoint integration experience • Windows Server 2008 administration • Familiarity with virtualization technology (RDP, Hyper-V, Citrix XenDesktop, etc) • Excel VSTO development • Hadoop, MongoDB, CouchDB, Redis, other NoSQL technologies About Aqumin: 4 year old start-up with experienced Executive Team that is quickly gaining momentum.
