thanks for the reply. My notify level is currently set to INFO. So it should be 
visible in the logs if my shaders would not compile. Meanwhile i also exchanged 
the shaders against a single one painting all the geometry fragments in red. 
But obviously there is no renderable geometry visible.

I also built a fresh version of osg from the trunk against ios 5. And the 
example runs quite well. Are there any restrictions for specifying geometries 
or any state attributes that could hinder geometries beeing forwarded to the 
vertex shader ?
