Hi I've seen such problems in windows on nvidia card with static osg build in singlethreaded app on several machines, you could reproduce this in couple of runs with just opening model with embedded compressed textures in osgstaticviewer example under windows (dont know if this same for dynamic build), on linux all work great. I have no idea if this is driver issue or plugin problem or whatever.
