Hello Michael,

I have exactly the same problem with some fbx files. Unfortunately this seems to be related to the fbx importer not evaluating the texture-material mixing correctly. The problem is that the diffuse color indeed is black and the texture is not applied as decal. I've tried to fix this but with no luck, as I don't have too much experience with the fbx format. Maybe the author of the FBX plugin can drop a line regarding the proposed fix.

cheers
Sebastian
Hi,

i am new to this, so bear with me.
The Problem i encountered is:
after exporting from 3Ds Max to .fbx
i could easily open the .fbx file with MotionBuilder on the same Pc.

But if i try looking at the Model with the osganimationviewer on a Linux
system, i can see the Animations but the Model is Black without Texture.

So far, i tried:
export with embedded Media
export with ascii and then change the .tga locations with Texteditor

but the Model remains black.
What is it that i forgot?

Thank you!

Cheers,
Michael
