Just a little note: The submission called "DDS - Crash fixes, improved handling of 
S3TC-DXTC" has something related with this topic. I guess both should not interfere, 
but they may be complementary.

I've just sent it again, hope it will get to you this time. I think it
may wait for approval because of attachments size, I think it did last
time.
