try one of:

osgViewer::Viewer* viewer = dynamic_cast<osgViewer::Viewer*>(camera->getView());

or

osgViewer::View* view = dynamic_cast<osgViewer::View*>(camera->getView());
osgViewer::Viewer* viewer = dynamic_cast<osgViewer::CompositeViewer*>(view);

...from top of head :)
