Hi!
does anyone know of any binaries of osg/osgearth built with VS2012 or
even better VS2013?
I have tried myself but being a rookie at cmake and the idiosyncraises
of interdependant open source libraries at large I got stuck at Collada
DOM, which was a beast.
I have repeatedly asked the "standard source", Alphapixel, for help but
they seem to be stuck at VS2010 despite my pleading with them now for
almost a year to get it done.
So, if anyone has done this or even if you have a source tree for a
previous version that you could just zip up I would be very grateful.
The reason for requiring modern compilers is that my own code uses C++11
features. I wrote a lot of this code before realizing I wanted to go 3D...
I also link with wxWidgets, but that does not seem to be a problem at
least for the parts of OSG I was able to compile (i.e. most of it except
Collada). I haven't tried compiling osgEarth itself but I really do need
Collada export anyway to be able to transfer data to OpenSimulator,
which only eats Collada...
