Hi Sebastian, I don't feel the OpenSceneGraph project needs more none core internal libraries and applications, it's rather overflowing as it is.
I don't believe VirtualPlanetBuilder being separate is a hurdle for contributors. The main problem with VPB as it is is that I have quite a bit of work on my plate so haven't the chance to wrap up and tag VPB-1.0. Others are welcome to help push this side forward by having write access to the VPB repository, access does come with responsibility though. Cheers, Robert.
