I was aware that the opensource drivers aren't on par with the closed
ones w.r.t. OpenGL specifications and driver optimizations, but I
didn't knew that what has been implemented there wasn't correct. From
the wiki page [1], Mesa should complies with OpenGL 3.3. Isn't there a
testsuite to ensure correct compliance?

For the depth peeling example, only features of OpenGL fixed pipeline
are used, so I'm really surprised it works that bad if Mesa is
supposed to complies with OpenGL 3.3.
