I am the author of osgVolume so have quite a bit of experience of working
with 3D textures, but having read your post don't have a clue what you
mean, so there is no way I could provide an answer.  I suspect others will
be a bit clueless as to what you are trying to achieve.

When you say volumetric, do you mean you are using osgVolume?  Or some one
volume rendering technique??
