Hi, I had the same issue with osgViewer build failing to find X11 libs on cygwin. I am no cygwin expert, so went into OpenSceneGraph-3.0.1/src/osgViewer/CMakeFiles/osgViewer.dir/link.txt and appended -lX11 -lXrandr to the line. That fixed it! ...
