Hi All, I have been using git more and more over the last year but still feel very much a novice, still having to doing online searches for answers how to do things on a daily basis..
Anyway, one thing that I did today was create a OSG specific .gitignore, file attached. Adding this to the root directly of the OSG helps quieten down git status to just relevant files, or at least what I believe is appropriate. I was wondering what others in the community do w.r.t .gitignore and whether it might be appropriate to add it into the OSG repository itself so that it's there any time someone checks out the OSG from github. Toughts? Robert.
