Hi, Thank you for your answer. I usually compile it using a similar command and it does not take that long. But it is not the only package we have to compile. I haven't timed it neither but, using 4 threads, it's about 15/30 minutes.
When we give a practical course using our software, we are aiming at having a software installed quickly. In case we use binary packages, we would rather use OSG from Ubuntu official repository.
