Hi Christian, CORRECTION:
in that specific case there is only Qt4 installed on the machine. In this case OSG won't even configure properly.
OSG got installed "properly". I mean that the dependent project which I was trying to build didn't configure properly, simply because the libosgqt library wasn't existing.
