Hi All,

I have just start putting items in the NEWS.txt for the 1.1 release.
So for its just place holders for the final text, but I'm posting here
to get feedback on any major items I've missed.  The NEWS.txt is
reproduced below.

If you've contributed to the OSG since 1.0 could you please read and
add notify me of any major features that haven't made it into the
list.

threading.
