Hi David,

search in TrackballManipulator.cpp for "Pushing forward". At a certain
zoom level, the center (focus position) gets moved. I think you can
influence this with the setMinimumZoomScale method. Another options is
to make your own trackball with the push forward code removed or some
other functionality.

Panning also moves the focus point.
