Sure, that's probably a good idea.

For the OSG projects I'm working up a Perl script to rewrite the 1.1
.dsp files, rather than doing it manually.  So incorporating systemic
late-breaking changes shouldn't be too difficult for me.  I'm guessing
it would be a lot more work on your end though.

Would it be possible to publish the modes to OpenThreads and Producer
so that others can test them to make sure that VS6.0 7.x and 8.x and
static build still hang toghther?

This might help pick up any problems that need resolution before you
work through the whole OSG.
