Good. BTW, my point wasn't against use of ambient light as such - it has
its uses. However, I hate when the software is trying to be too smart
and does something I didn't ask for. This causes hard-to-find problems
and bugs.

I think that ambient should be set to 0 by default, unless specified
otherwise. This is what OpenGL defaults to as well.
