Hi Robert and Philip,
If you'd like, I can provide a short Perl script that will undo the $(PlatformName) and $(ConfigurationName) macro usage in the .dsp files so that they don't have to be manually edited to build with VS 6.
I don't see a way around the conflict between 64 bit support and VS 6 support with regard to the $(PlatformName) variable. On one side or the other effort will need to be expended to update the configuration to a point where it's buildable.

I must say that a CMake build system is sounding better and better all the time... :)
I was think exactly that this morning. I am all for making integrating CMake into OSG-1.3 if it can offer a way out of the nightmare that is VisualStudio x.x and Xcode x.x project support.
Robert.
