I have just been to the guest house and booked the rooms. You are in for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights, let me know if this needs changing. If you can't arrive by 6pm they just need to know in advance, I don't think be half an hour late would be too much of problem.
The journey time will probably be an hour, perhaps a bit more if Glasgow rush bites you. At that time of day it's probably best to go north to the Erskin bridge, croos the clyde there, and then head up the west of the Campsie fells, then up to Callander. Hopefully once you open up a map this will make a bit more sense.
