It looks like it's a bug in the latest version of FeelingSoftware's Max exporter, I've sent them a bug report. In larger collada exports some of the alpha components are becoming NaN's as well.

The material's alpha is set to 0 in the osg file, so it is 100%
transparent. Change the alpha values to 1 and it should show up fine.
It worked here.
