Rubber banding zooming is possible ( rubber banding is left mouse and
dragging the cursor to get a selection box on the screen, like selecting in
photo shop)

But it is not built in to OSG you will have write it yourself, I have done
this before in OSG ( sorry I cannot release the code at this time)

Best Regards

Gordon

The OpenSceneGraph allows you to control OpenGL to do either FLAT or GOURAUD
shading, which is bascially just inerpolation between vertex attributes
across primitives. Gouraud shading is smooth shading.

What would "Rubber band Zoom" be? I haven't yet come across it in 14 years
of working in 3D graphics.
