1. I get an error 403 when I try to download any of the packages. Are the permissions correct? Are the files in the right place on the server?
Sorry forget to change from ownership from ftp. Could you tryu again.
2. There should not be any apostrophe in "rpm's". It might be better to write "RPMs" or just "Packages."
Changed to packages.
3. The Producer rpm depends on OpenThreads, and OpenSceneGraph depends on both Producer and OpenThreads. The "devel" packages depend on their respective base packages. I recommend that the organization be redone according to level of development, rather than by the current system. So you could have a "runtime" section with the base packages, a "development" section with the "devel" packages, and then another separate section for the rest (examples, debug info, source). Here is a suggestion for the paragraph at the top: This page contains links to the RPM packages for Fedora Core 4. They have been successfully used on Fedora Core 4/5 systems and will probably work on Fedora Core 6 as well. If you only want to run OpenSceneGraph examples and applications, you need to download the runtime packages: OpenSceneGraph-1.2-4.i386.rpm, OpenThreads-1.5-4.i386.rpm, and Producer-1.1-4.i386.rpm, and optionally OpenSceneGraph-examples-1.2-4.i386.rpm. If you want to develop applications with OpenSceneGraph, you will also need the development packages: OpenSceneGraph-devel-1.2-4.i386.rpm, OpenThreads-devel-1.5-4.i386.rpm, and Producer-devel-1.1-4.i386.rpm. The source code is found in OpenSceneGraph-1.2-4.src.rpm.
Ok. I think perhaps it might be worth getting you to update the wiki page without all the appropriate info. Only Don, Rainer and myself have the password for the download though. I'm a bit overload with stuff right now so please ping me again. I'll return to to this topic later, if I don't please ping me.
