Hi Martin,
The current build is fine. Producer users are building and working with it
with no problems being reported. We are actively discussing improved build
systems on Producer-users (which has been in place since December of 2004
and exists for discussing issues directly related to Producer). The move to
DWMake was simply a cleaner way to do the current build, but it probably
won't be the final solution.
SO, please, feel free to do cvs updates, and build as you normally have.
Regarding cicular dependencies, I've defaulted Producer to not build
ProducerOSG and kept ProducerOSG out of the Visual Studio file. It will
likely become part of a section on "How to use OSG with Producer". For the
record, compatibility with osgProducer will be there as long as people need
it.

I'd say the most significant and therefore obvious problem is the build
system for Producer that's currently in CVS. From reading your recent
mail I understood we should rest a while until the Procuder build
system is back in a state where whe current obstacles are cleared ....
I'm not talking about OSG <-> Producer dependencies but about the
current inability to build Producer with 'make'.
Cheers,
Martin.
