Gerrick,
Wow, this sounds great! We have a CAVE system, and am creating a
NURBS tutorial for a user to experience in it. If VE_NURBS offers the
ability to show even basic NURBS entities, it would work perfectly. As
for the control points, I think I can handle that, as we have a tracked
wand in the cave which I can program to select the points. Would be very
interested if you could help us out!
Thanks,
-Austin

Austin,
Our toolkit (VE-Suite) has a NURBS library (VE_NURBS) that allows you to create
untrimmed NURBS Sufaces as well as NURBS curves and then render in osg. You can
modify the curves and surfaces via selection of control points. This last part
is "sketchy" because at the time of development, there wasn't a way to select
points in OSG so we ended up writing our own method (which is basically ogl
calls wrapped in an OSG drawable). I think this has changed recently (new
intersection visitor classes) but we already had something implemented. We plan
on addressing this in the future but for now we're going with what we've got! ;)
We'd be happy to post/share what we have.

Hello all,
I am curious to know if anybody has ANY resources which might be
helpful in getting a simple NURBS spline and NURBS surface working in
osg. The NURBS++ library for C++ is dead and seems abandoned.
Ideally, it would be nice to have basic interaction with the control
points, but at this point I would just love to get something rendering
on screen.
Thanks,
-Austin
