Hi All,
Others have probably seen the below in their inbox to, I'm reproducing it
here just in case you haven't seen it, or are aware of the deadlines.
At the Highland Gathering we discussed the possibility of doing courses at
SIGGRAPH, but alas we've been swept off our feet with work since then, so
nothing more has happened... yet...
However, no time like the present to strike up a discussion about what we
could do. Suggestions for what you'd like see, how you'd like to help out
would be very welcome.
Cheers,
Robert.
I would very much like to be involved in submitting a course for Siggraph.
I volunteer to write a proposal, as long as others volunteer to present
various topics. I don't want to be the only presenter.
Here are some topics that might be discussed:
- integration with GUI toolkits
- terrain visualization (I can probably present this topic)
- image animation (I can present this topic)
- visitors
- integration with Producer (hopefully this will settle down by next summer)
(I am willing to present this topic)
- picking and intersection
- using plugins
Any other ideas? As Robert said, the deadline is coming up very soon,
December 7.
