That sounds cool. Its mainly the code for the viewport I'm having
trouble w/. I can't seem to get a projection matrix to show anything in
the cameranode, and I don't see any code for doing so. If you had any
little code snippets I would be very appreciative.

I just added a cameranode with a viewport in the lower left corner, the
subgraph is the axes, and using the Producer::Trackball (or whatever
manipulator you have) set just the orientation part from your main
camera to the camera node.
